**NIGERIAN ARMY TROOPS RESCUE KIDNAP VICTIMS IN KOGI, CLEAR IPOB/ESN ENCLAVE IN OGUTA, QUELL DEADLY ATTACK IN NASARAWA* Nigerian Army Troops have on Monday 26 February 2024  successfully rescued 10 passengers onboard  a Peace Mass Transit Bus kidnapped while traveling from Calabar to Abuja in Kogi State. Customs Adamawa/Taraba Command Records Seizures Worth Over N13M The Nigeria Customs Service, Adamawa/Taraba Area Command, has recorded seizures of assorted items worth over N13 million. The Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Salisu Abdullahi, made this known at a press briefing on Friday, 24 February, 2024, in Yola, Adamawa State Capital.  He explained that the command recorded fifteen incidents of seizures of assorted items with a Cumulative Duty Paid Value (DV) of thirteen Million, three hundred and fifty-two thousand, One hundred naira only (N13,352,100.00). The seized items include; 16, 675Litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) packed in 643×25L Jerry Cans and 3 x 200L drums, 20× 50kg bags of foreign parboiled rice and One used Volks Wagon Golf with a big reconstructed fuel tank. It will be recalled that the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), on the directive of Mr. President, announced the commencement of a noble intervention aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by Nigerians and improving access to essential food items through direct disposal of seized edible goods condemned in competent courts of law and certified fit for consumption by relevant government agencies.
