NATHAN YAKUBU, HAJIA ZAINAB ABDULLAHI UNVEILS THE WINSOME FOUNDATION, ITS AWARD INVESTITURE PROJECT, SATURDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER 2023 IN ABUJA

The Winsome Foundation an NGO founded by Hajia Zainab Abdullahi in partnership with Nathan Yakubu rolls out it programmes and projects to  the federal government of Nigeria and the general public.

The Winsome Foundation event which comes up on Saturday 2nd, September, 2023, with prominent Personalities already confirmed to grace the event.

The event venue is Merit House, 22 Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, FCT Abuja.

The theme is building positive Impact for a better society.

Time is 3pm.

The Inspector-General of Police, Tunji Disu, has inaugurated a high-powered Steering Committee on the Establishment of State Police, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s internal security architecture. The committee is chaired by Prof. Olu Ogunsakin, Director-General of the National Institute for Police Studies, Jabi, Abuja. Gunmen Hijack Funeral Convoy, Abduct Mourners Escorting FRSC Deputy Commander's Body, Demand ₦50m Ransom

A funeral procession conveying the remains of a late Deputy Corps Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Augustine O. Ikwue, has been attacked by suspected kidnappers along the Ososo–Ajaokuta axis of Kogi State, with several mourners reportedly abducted. The late officer, popularly known as "Etume Zero," was being transported to his hometown in Benue State for burial when the armed men ambushed the convoy. According to reports, the attackers abducted several mourners and initially took away the corpse of the deceased officer into the bush alongside the victims. Citizen journalist and activist Meddy Olotu disclosed that the kidnappers later abandoned the corpse, which was subsequently recovered near Ejule in Kogi State. However, the abducted mourners remain in captivity. The kidnappers are reportedly demanding a ransom of ₦50 million for the release of the victims.
